Use of photographs

Garingal Orienteers Incorporated (Garingal) may take photographs of you, or your family, or of spectators at orienteering events. These photographs remain the property of Garingal.  Garingal may, in some circumstances, use photographs acquired by orienteers from other club who has been designated as an Event Photographer.

Garingal will not permit the use of these photographs outside the limited following situations:
* Promotion of the sport of orienteering

* Slide shows during functions for members of Garingal

* Recognition of Awards.

Garingal will only use photographs which portray each individual, and the sport of orienteering in general, in a positive and respectful manner.

Garingal may use full names for adults in photos (individuals believed to be over 18), however where individuals are under the age of 18, the individual, and any other adult in the photo, will only be referred to as competitors, club members, or orienteers.

If you have any concern around the use of your photo, or the photo of a child in your custody, please contact Garingal (via the Contact Us  page on this website or the email address President@garingal.com.au) and Garingal will endeavour to have the photo removed from the website within 48 hours.
